How to export to DXF
ok, newbie stupid question alert. How do I export this to a DXF? If there's a tutorial I missed, just point me at it. Thanks.
Re: How to export to DXF
Hi Scott;
From the project tree, select one gear or both at once by holding down the ctrl key and selecting with mouse (highlighted blue), then export them via the DXF icon in the output option top right in GT. Hope this helps..
Cheers

Re: How to export to DXF
Hi:
First, you must create each one and place it on the project page. You can only put out objects that have been created,
so the design screens cannot be used for output. Once they are on the project page, you just select the ones you want to
put out in the tree listing, then press the output manager button. DXF output is done there.
In GT, ( where youll probably get a better output quality ) you do pretty much the same thing, create the objects
to the project screen, press the dxf button and select the objects to be put out.

Re: How to export to DXF
Hi, so how to I get the gears from GT to the project page?
Re: How to export to DXF
Scott:
Same way as in GM. On the circular gear tab ( created when you select Circular gears on the tools tab. ), you will
see a AddWheel or AddPinion to project button. Hit either button and that gear will be placed ont he project page.
From there you can dxf it, gcode it, stl it, or print it.
Yell if you need more help ..
