They are absolutely beautiful! I wanted one for years and finallly got one last year. Seagulls in flight. I had thought of taking one apart (now that would be silly for the price of them!) to see how it worked; I just didn't understand it.
So I was thrilled to see the winders you mention in your videos, Art, that talked about Roy's work. Now I could actually see the concept behind it. I hope to learn much and be creative in my knowledge.
BTW, the clock you designed as a practice and displayed in your videos is located where? I'd like to really examine it.
Thanks a lot, Art.
Or, Bob... as Art may be on vacation.

Re: I have a David Roy sculpture on my wall
Hi David:
I havent left yet, still doing research till I leave on Monday. Ill dig up that clock for you, Ive changed so much
in the last year that many old files have gone missing or unloadable, so I cant be sure I can actually get one
that loads.
Ill be making another clock tutorial for GT this year though so that we'll have a project file AND a video
showing it being built. The Scimitar Ticker was so popular we plan on doing a few more tutorials along the same
lines.

Glad to hear about the uber videos. Videos are -so- helpful. Designing.... putting together... all of that will help teach us how to fish. So we can become creative on our own. I'm very excited to be able to make my own design, and hope not to get frustrated with the basics. I absolutely appreciate your effort.
David.
