When I open the ratchet tool, I can only see a Geneva gear. Am I missing something? I need a plain ratchet to make a ratchet and click system for my clock project. There's a ratchet available in GM though.

Ratchet types in GT
Re: Ratchet types in GT
Steve,
See if clicking "Gravity" below the Geneva is what you are after.

Stephen;
Ken is right, select the gravity tab to generate a more familiar ratchet type, cw/ccw will change it's direction, and you can adjust the actuator lenght and/or the depth of the tooth face where the ratchet will lock. Hope this helps.
