Problem tooth generation on eliptical gears

Hi,

When I try to generate teeth for elliptical gears above a certain mod.

I have no problem on small gears but the problem is that the gears are just too small (5mm major axis radius is just way too small). So I tried to generate larger gears but the toothing just messes up.



What am I missing?

  Are you in inches or mm's? I think the program is messing up because a mod of 200 is just sooo huge.
A mod of 20 gives a 214" raiud on mine, but I am seeing a weird recalc after pressing tooth wheel. Im investigating why,
but it seems the radius isnt correct until you tooth it..

Try a mod of 20 or less, you should get pretty large gears ...
