newbie and gear beginner with torque question

My name is Rod, I'm interested in learning about gearing systems.
I have not downloaded the software as yet. I have only read some and watched a video.

I would like to know if there's a torque calculator in the software and
possibly a design assistant to help plan out gearing combinations to achieve
ratios and force (or torque) values, like input-to-output force gain or loss?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Rod:

There are calculators for ratios for gear trains, torque is proportional to ratio, so its a start.
Id advise you try the demo, and watch the video's on the youtube channel. Its a good
way to see if the software is a fit for your needs.

Good luck
