Exported Pulley not round?

Hi,
I have created a pulley as follows: Selected XL pulley, 90 teeth. Made the shaft 5" in diameter.
I then export as DXF and when loading into Meshcam, it reports the size as 5.709, 5.711. Should this not be the same?
Thanks

Hi Tomb:
Wouldnt sweat it, sounds like rounding, a diameter variance of .002 could also simply be the way a dxf measures diameter. If a space happens to be at 180 degrees from a tooth, it can make a measurement look wrong, while gears are round, you have to fill in the missing bits to measure them accurately, or measure the diamter of a circle placed around it tightly... In any event, I dont think its a concern...

Tom;
I tried your scenario, I also got 5.711 for an OD in Gearotic. I then export it, and imported back into VCarve to physically measured 5.711 from edge to edge using their ruler. Is it possible you may need to slightly rotate the gear inside MashCam to catch better edges as your reference point to become closer than the 20 thou of an inch your off? Anyhow, appears right to me, perhaps others may have additional feedback.
Thanks
Bob
