Printing Issues

Good Morning group/Art

I've been playing around with GT and  it's printing 1:1 scale to create a paper template. I love the fact that the print preview show a series of concentric circles for aligning the multi pages together.

The gear was printed on four sheets of printer paper,  which looked great, However,  the concentric circles did not print.

Any Idea of what might be the problem.

  Hmm, Ill run some tests to find out. The circles are printed in a lighter greay than the gears so perhaps that causes trouble.
I will check it out and make sure a bug didnt creep in there. Im glad the circles please..I tried several ways to make it better and the
circles appealed to me as well. ..test done.. its broke. Im fixing it now, thx for the report, fix will be out soon.

you can redownload Jerry, your prints shoudl now have circles in grey..

Hello Art;

was printing more templates after my last post and noticed that a gear that fits well on a single sheet of paper (O.D.) of 6 inches was printed with the concentric circles as well. Not that it makes a difference to me but was just wondering if a gear fits on a single sheet of paper, wouldn't require the indexing rings

  True, the circles coudl be turned off for single page gears.. I didnt set any code to that as I figured the circles at least showed the
output was properly scaled. I will eventuall yadd code to determine its a single page..and drop the watermarks..

  I did take note of that, and it should be gone by next release. :)

I AM pleased by this versions performance, havent had a single crash report so far...( Oh, no ..here they come.. lol )

Debug code makes the bugs hide.  They're waiting for you to forget about them.  They'll come back as soon as you try a public demo or whenever they can embarrass you.  Spent about 35 years proving it :)
