Hi,

I am cutting a lanturn gear on a CNC.  I am cutting it from the 2-D DXF.  Should I cut the Comped.dxf profile or the non-comped profile.

  Depends on your cnc. The comped is good if you need to cut with software that cannot take tool size into account. If your software
uses tool radius though, you should use the noncomped..
