Distance Correction

Post by ArtF »

Here is an example of how the Distance Correction algorithm smooths out acceleration damage to an engraving,
this is about .4mm deep in cardboard at 25000mm/min, ( 980"/min.). TO do it I set my jerk way way low so that the
axis was slow to accel and only hit top speed in the middle.
Im not sure how much it can be pushed, but the image is very smooth and shows no power spread error. A pleasing result
for the slow speed. It  looks pretty much like what I get at high speed with a jerk suitable for my mass.. This is a 8" x 8" engraving ,
if you can call such a shallow 3d an engraving..).

10 watts, 90% power, 25K/min(mm)
