GT stalled out. Can't get it to begin a new project

Post by Stephen Fornelius »

All I'm getting is beeps no matter what I hit.  The position indicators are moving, but I can't click on either tool or project to get something started.

Tried rebooting, reloaded the new version, uninstalled, and loaded the regular version.  Same problem, GM works fine, but GT doesn't let me do anything on the program/tool menu.  Note that Norton picked up GT as a dangerous shortcut, so I let it do its delete.  It deleted GT but not GM.  Uninistalled and reinstalled and got the same issue.

Hi Stephen:

Hmm. Weird. I dont yet have any similar reports..but .. LEts try a total reset of its values.
If you run RegEdit, and delete the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Gearotic-Thoughts
a total reset will occur in the program. All values will get set back to default.

Try that and let me know if it helps..

Thank Art, that worked fine.  There were TWO files named GT, so I deleted both and then restarted the program.  Everything seems to be working fine now.
