Can't see a measurement when using Measure Icon

I got back into my project, but I still don't see any measurement.  I can make the white line, which disappears as soon as I let go of the mouse button, but nowhere on the screen is any kind of measurement.  I can see the coordinates changing but that's it.

  Im not sure whats happening to your fonts.. My measurment shows up about 1/2 down the page.. Ive raised it quite a bit
and your not seeing it.. Im thinking it may not be printing on your system.  If you select a gear is all the other data showing up?

Nope, I'm just using the default fonts, BUT I had them at large.  When I moved to medium, then the dimension shows below the escapement in my design.
