Deleting Objects from 3-axis Screen

Post by John T »

Hi Art,
I have put more objects not the 3-Axis screen than I want there.  My problem is I can't seem to select and remove specific items.  I can select the item
and get the 4 corners and dotted line.  When I click on the delete button a dialog comes and asks if I want all tool paths deleted - I click yes and the dialogue box goes away but nothing changes on the 3-axis screen.

All my other methods of making things go away are to no avail.

Help

Hmm, sounds liek your trying to delete the toolpaths, not the object. Try just selecting the object, and hitting the delete key on the keyboard, not the delete button on the screen. Does that work?

Hi Art
You're right i was getting a "tool path" question.

A simple selection i.e. drag a box around the items and then since I'm using a Mac - a function-shift-delete does the trick.

I'm sure I had done this before but short term memory is getting shorter.

Im pretty sure I used to remember things better, but I forget exactly how much I used to remember as opposed
to how much I currently forget. ... what was I talking about again?
