I am just learning to play with this amazing program. Here are a few initial comments:
I keep different projects in separate folders as commonly done. I saved the project file in such a folder.
I later created a DXF output file and it never went to the project folder as expected. I finally found the file in the default gear data folder. It ought to save it in the project folder.
Another little headache: The DXF file when opened in AutoCAD is black lines on black background so it looked like nothing was created. The fix is easy now that I know about it.
I could not find a "Cancel" button once I by mistake hit the generate DXF and there was nothing to select.
Thanks for a great program.

Re: File locations
Hi Bertho:
thx, I will see if I can set a colour flag in the dxf output..

If you set the default program folder in the options , you can select and folder as the library of projects. Project files will be in the root of this folder, and dxf's and such should appear in the subfolder by project name. Ill check to see
if its messed up.
Thx for the comments, always noted for future correction. :)
