Florish OffSet Units

Post by John T »

Hi Art,
I have just created a florish - sort of a wreath by having two circles somewhat concentric.  The florish worked really great.  Then I wanted to offset the to the outside and I highlighted the florish and inserted an integer (4 I think it was) but could see no result even though the progress bar flashed.

In order to get something like I wanted the offset I used was 0.1  My question is what are the units of the offset - percentage?, metric?, imperial?  If I had some idea of what it was I could predict the outcome.

John

PS  With this wreath effect I'm thinking of engraving solid gears

Re: Florish OffSet Units

Hi John:

It is in units. SO if a chain is ay 10mm wide, an entry of 1 will make it 12 overall after an offset, or offset inwars by 1mm.

It may be you hit Inwards 4.0 and it decided it just couldnt do it due to space inwards..

I know many bugs remain, I find and fix as I go. Thx for the check notice .. Ill run a test or two. :)

Thx
Art
