Program crash version 4.890

I have just downloaded version 4.890 of GM and I've run into a problem when trying to generate an epicycloidic pinion when using a specific wheel/pinion combination of 32/8 teeth. Every time I try to generate a pinion from this combination the program crashes. Changes to diametric pitch value have no effect.
As far as I can tell it is only this tooth combination that causes the problem. Spur gears work properly. All other tooth combinations also work.

Hi Russ:
Seems to work fine here. Does it do it if you turn off spokes. That pinion is small so spokes can easily intersect each other which could cause a crash.
Ive taken much greater care in the new code to eliminate crashes in such things and instead show the error or fix it.
Thx

Russ:
Strange. I cant get mine to fail. Whats your point distance setting? Metric or imperial? Ill give that a shot.
Thx

Art,
I tried both metric and imperial units and various point distance settings to no avail. I finally rebooted my system and tried again. After a few unsuccessful tries I was able to get the pinion to generate. For now, all seems well. I will report if this odd behavior reappears.
thx
Russ
