I want margin space in the around of gear
when outputting the gear shape in 2D dxf file.

Processing by MeshCAM can not make the path for the End mill on the tip of the teeth of the gear.

So, It is not cut tooth tips of four teeth of the left, right, upper and lower ends of the gear clearly.

Please tell me how to set.
Best regards.

Hello:

  DXF files really do not have margins per say. If Meshcam cannot see outside the bounds of the dxf data, then probably you just
need to tell meshcam to increase its project size. Ask Rob if its possibly a setting in mashcam to increase the job size as it is in vectric.
  When a program puts out a dxf, its doesnt put out anything other than the objects really..its not a true page oriented output format.

K.Yoshii;

You can also have GM generate the toolpath for you if you'd prefer, rather than Meshcam if you contimue to have page size issues..

All right.
This problem is likely seem to be resolved by Meshcam side.
Thank you,Bob and Art
