shaft hole problem
Re: shaft hole problem
Hi Matt:
Im unsure exactly what we're speaking of. Im assuming your saying the Gcode produced is creating a 1/2" hole where it should be
a 3/16 hole?
If you measure the hole is it truly 3/16" when it was created? Is the tool diameter set correctly? The only way the hole should
be larger than what was programmed into the gear is if the tool diameter set is not actually correct. Hmmm...thats quite bit off from 3/16 to 8/16 ..
Can you send me the Gcode file and the project file for that gear..Ill let you know whats wrong from there. But check the tool carefully,
it sounds as if its wrong..OR the checkbox for "modify shaft diameter" has been checked in GM's output, that can increase a shaft to a new diameter,
make sure thats turned off..(unchecked ). If it IS checked, that setting add an mount to the original shaft diameter..any chance thats it?
