New Version updated.

Post by ArtF »

Hi Guys:

I failed to test imports on the last version of GT, they had an error created by geneva's expansion of the serialization stream.
It meant you could not load projects previously stored with GT., This is now fixed..unfortunatley projects from the last 3 days
will be toast. and I cannot make a fix for that. So I appologize to anyone negatively affected by this. Please redownload and the issue
is now fixed.

Thx

Just a status update..

I intend to try to release by end of month the next version. It will have a ratchet added to the geneva's screen. It also allows named gears and
has a undo / redo feature so you can more easily experiment with small changes and just throw them away with undo.

Hope is was a merry xmas for all,

Oh.. Ive also added user definable font sizing for the displays, so you should be able to find a font size to fit your
monitor usage..

Thx

John:

Not yet released. As of next release it is in the options menu, you can select 3 sizes and the typesetting has
been changed to be much more readable on all monitors.

Thx

Hi Art,
Just a note.  When viewing a ratchet "lever" escapement the simulation works as expected in the "tools" view while the escape wheel in the project view does not turn in the simulation mode.  the other components do all work as expected, just not the wheel.

John

Hope you're having some time to yourself on the holidays.

Thx John:

On my list for repair. I probably missed some small typo in the rotation algorithm between the two screens..

:-)
