Hi All:
The development version was just updated to a new version of Vexx ( 1.4).
This version cleans up the GUI a bit, you no longer have to zoom in to select a contour or group made up of many lines. It used to be you had to be between nodes to select, but now if a node is clicked on and not moved, it will be assumed it was clicked to select it.
Various displays corrected such as angular ruler being affected by zoom.
Photo's may now be imported and have a transparency setting on toolbox for tracing photo's manually. Automatic tracing is in development.
Thx

Release Feb 5th - 2018
Re: Release Feb 5th - 2018
Hi All:
Just a note for those that have had trouble importing gears into Fusion 360, I have found that
by outputting as Acad2009,Fusion will accept gears without error. I have updated Vexx to allow Acad2009 output. This will be in next release of Vexx, likely later this week. You will have to export from Gearotic to Vexx, then use Vexx's export to DXF after setting Vexx options for Acad2009 output in order to make it Fusion friendly. Acad version 2015 may also be used
for the capability of quadratic splines if one wishes, but this will hopefully make Fusion behave properly with all gear types including non-circular.
Thanks
