I've had the continuing problem with the background being unchangeable and lending the program unusable. A screen shot of the problem is attached. I've tried changing the colors in settings, but nothing happens.
System is Gearotica 4.82 under XP running under VMWare Fusion on a Macbook. It used to work fine a number of versions ago (don't know for sure when it messed up).
Thanks.

Re: Screen background issue
Hi Fly:
Hmm. Lets see if I can figure out what changed when..
Are these primary colours displayed only on the projects page, or on the gear selection pages as well?

Re: Screen background issue
They are on all pages, although on gear selection pages, they seem to be a bit paler or muted.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: Screen background issue
Hi:
Ive gone back to June of last year and I cant see any change in the way the opengl viewer does its screen background draws.
Do you know how long ago the version that worked for you was? Is it possible youve changed soemthing in your openGL system?
(Im not quite sure how VMware does the translations..)
Thx

Re: Screen background issue
Oh, by the way, if you set the screen colors in the setup menu all to zero, does the screen change?
Thx

Re: Screen background issue
I'll go back and see if I can figure out which older versions worked and when it started.
If I change to all zeros, I see no change to the screen. If fact changing those values doesn't seem to have any effect at all.
Is there an OpenGL version I should be looking for or even how do I determine which version is running?

Hi Fly:
I think its 4.3 as the current version, but there are differing numbering schemes for OpenGL, 1.3 is also common
reference number.
