The one generated with GM does need a fair bit of push to get the cage wheel to move. Making the sprocket from acetal might make it a little bit smoother.

Hi:

Yes, Im pretty sure thats the accute pallet angle it has. I did that to eliminate as much slop as I could at mesh point (Inverted geneva's are known to be a bit sloppy..), but I think its too severe. I do have it on my development list to try to reduce that angle to make it easier to engage the tooth...

Yes, I have a couple of Chinese CO2 lasers that I use in my business.
