I've been wanting to build something special for my wife, like moving artwork that hangs on the wall and stumbled on Arts 'Scimitar' on YouTube. It's nice to see that others have artwork-in-motion, also. After seeing 'Scimitar', I've realized What I've been missing... Gearotic! What a great program so far. Anyhow, I just wanted to say 'hi' and thanks for making the job a bit easier. I can't wait to get mine in motion. Machining and woodworking are rather new hobbies, so it'll be cool if I can combine the two into one.

Welcome, I'm sure you'll come up with something for that special gift you want to make? Gearotic provides many tools to do just that, so explore, try things out, have fun building, ask away if you need to and who knows, maybe you'll also gain a few brownie points once done?

  Welcome, I think youll find they mix well. Im in search of a new lathe myself, to add to my CNC router,
delta woodworking gear, table saw ,bandsaw and emco cnc lathe , as well as my 2 lasers. I find it interesting
when I can use all the tools in one project.

  Im stuck with honeydo lists for the next month or two, then I plan to do another ticker of
some sort.. just mulling the possibilities now as I clear my house maintenance work off. My bat
sculpture was always too large to use in my house.. I may redesign that for a smaller version fit
for a normal room.. still mulling..

Anyway, have fun, yell for help, or show us what you make.. we're always interested. :)
