i think that about sums it up...
i wanted to undo the last step, not the whole lot!
ones on xp, ones on linux, they both do it...

Hi:
When that happens, press "redo" and they will usually come back. I try to grab them at every opportunity and save a backup, a typical user has about 20-30 backup files in operation as they use the program ( but they dont know it.. ), the program deletes all backups on restart though, so if you do an ARGH moment, press redo rigth away. Youve got a very high probability that it will redo the loss. ( when you hit undo.. a backup is made of where you are in case you press redo..) Its not perfect, but it comvers you much of the time.
