Loaded 2.2982.  No differences.  Everything works fine.  No resolutions offered.  defaults to 640 x 480.

Same results here.

My confidence levels have dropped from high teens/20s to around 10 with the overhead lights off, and and were mid teens with the lights on.  The moosecave has a small window high up to my right fwiw.

I've had confidence  levels in the 50's & 60's.  I find that I put a small light (60 watt) behind the monitor in an otherwise dark room, I get the highest results.

Hi Art, Version 2.2982 found my camera.
I have two cameras on my computer and these are interchanged in the program,
otherwise i can create 3d now.  :)
However, I can not create STL, get up text says "Change size of the output of pixels to inches or mm"

I have tried 1024x768 on my camera and get a confidence of 69.
I use a 40 inch screen in 4k resolution.

Art, i tried again and now it works STL, exported face and imported into Aspire.
Became fantastically well with incredibly fine details, and then I did only a quick test.  :) :) :)
Would be interesting if you could control four powerful LED lights from the program, then you should be able to scan larger items too?

Hi All

2.2983 is online. The problem, we're having is it seems some cameras categorize their video as one type, others another..yet others even more..

So this version has most stops pulled. It will, on each line show a subcode..3 sub numbers, please let me know, if this version shows
resolutions and others didnt, what your subcodes are. If you find selections that dont work.. same deal, let me know what doesnt work..

If you STILL show no resolutions, let me know that too, but please confirm theversion number in help/about..

Thx

Art, i can choose all resolutions from 320x240 to 1024x768
on Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000
I get same subcode Sub:0-Sub:0-Sub:0 on all.

Thx, sounds like logitech reports normal on all counts. 0's are standard parsing with stops engaged,
which is a good thing.. :)

I'm using the Logitech 9000 camera on win8 64bit system

here is a 7" high 14" wide 2" high cutout in a half log

roughed with a 1/2 ball and semi finished with a 1/4 ball
1" depth of cuts on the 1/2 ball (2 passes)
.1" on 1/4' cutter (1 pass)
about 5 hours to rough it out.
6 hours 40 minutes final cut .015" ball 15 degree conical end mill (.005" step over and .005" step down)

What a beautiful job!  What software did you use to lay G-code on a stl file?

Hey Art, I know it's early, and i understand you have a lot to be added to Gearotic but I wonder if you also have plans to import images to Stereo Photometric so you could take pictures without a computer also.
I thought if you build a camera with associated light sources that are taken sequentially something like this example http://www.gla.ac.uk/schools/physics/research/groups/optics/research/creativecameras/
